It had been raining the whole time last week, with thunders and lightnings. Yesterday, rain was basically pouring down from the sky nonstop for most of the day. All the river banks were raised. It looked like we could get flooded any time if it just rained a little more.
We were on cyclone red alert last night (so no school if it stays red) and it looked like that storm might just continue. We woke up this morning, and this was all we could see.

The fog was so thick that you could hardly see in front of you. Miraculously, the school bus was on time!
It rained a bit today still, but mostly dry, though extremely humid. I have been told that this is not typical weather for Zhongshan in May. We just want to see the sun! I do miss Chiang Mai.
